Can I purchase directly from Agelec?

We are a wholesale distributor and as such, our range of Grain & Seed Moisture Testers are sold to individual end users via Rural Merchandise suppliers. Landmark are our major dealer network, with CRT, Elders and most independent dealers also able to supply our products.

We do supply directly to Government departments, Education and Research Institutions and in bulk to corporate entities. Our instruments for non agricultural applications, can also be purchased directly from us. We supply Export orders directly to end users.

Where do I find out the price and availability of a particular instrument?

For Grain & Seed Moisture Testers, please contact Landmark or your preferred Rural Merchandise supplier. For any other instruments, please check with us via our Contact page.

Can I obtain spare parts for my instrument?

It depends on the model and age of the instrument. Generally, spare parts are only available for 10 years after the last year of manufacture of the instrument. There are some exceptions e.g. Riceter Sample Trays are available (the same Tray fits all models) regardless of age, via Landmark. For any other parts, please check with us via our Contact page, ensuring you mention the model and serial number of the instrument.

I have lost my operating instructions. Can I obtain another copy?

Please check the Download page of our website. Product manuals for most current and some old models, are available there.

How do I have my instrument repaired?

It depends on the model and age of the instrument. Please check with us via our Contact page, ensuring that you mention the model, serial number and nature of the problem or repair required.

Do you sell second hand instruments?

No, we do not sell second hand instruments. Occasionally we have superseded models for sale at reduced prices. Please check with us via our Contact page.

Does my instrument require regular maintenance?

Most of our instruments require no maintenance other than cleaning as outlined in the Product manual. Some models may require heating lamp replacement. Please check with us via our Contact page for price and availability of replacement lamps, ensuring that you mention the model and serial number.

Does my instrument require recalibration?

Virtually all of our instruments do not require recalibration, as the factory programmed calibrations are contained in a Read Only Memory which cannot be reprogrammed.
